For dancers who know there's more than the steps
Seeing the Dance Differently
A different conversation about what we experience when we dance.
Dancing is more than the steps.
Dancing can bring us joy, freedom, expression, and connection. It can also bring up insecurity, comparison, frustration, and the feeling that we aren't quite good enough.
One evening we may feel relaxed and completely at home on the dance floor. Another evening, we may find ourselves overthinking every step or wondering what other people think of us.
What if those experiences aren't telling the whole story? What might we discover if we became curious about the dancer's experience—not just the dance?
This is an invitation to see the dance differently.
Seeing the Dance Differently is a monthly online conversation exploring the human experience of social dancing. Each gathering begins with a theme—such as confidence, connection, comparison, rejection, mistakes, or belonging—and follows wherever our curiosity and conversation naturally lead.
This isn't a dance class or a lecture. It's simply a space to come together in conversation, to listen, to share, and perhaps discover something fresh about your experience on the dance floor.
How do you really want to feel?
This Month's Conversation
I've been reflecting lately on my experiences social dancing—the connections we have with people and how those moments make us feel.
And the more I've reflected, the more curious I've become.
How do I really want to feel when I'm social dancing?
It sounds like a simple question, but perhaps there's more there to uncover, explore, and even be surprised by.
That curiosity inspired this month's Seeing the Dance Differently conversation.
If the question resonates with you—or you're simply curious about where it might lead—I warmly invite you to join me.
Come as you are, bring your curiosity, and let's see what bubbles up.

Why I'm offering these conversations
Latin dancing has given me opportunities for joy, expression, connection, and community. It has also shown me how easily we can become caught up in what other people think of us, whether we're good enough, and whether we truly belong.
Through my work as an Impact Catalyst and my understanding of how human experience is created, I've become increasingly curious about what becomes possible when dancers see themselves—and the dance—a little differently.
I don't intend to offer all the answers. I want to create space for honest, meaningful conversations in which we can explore these experiences together.
